Digicîmes designed and developed the new website forAGORES, the association that brings together institutional food service directors. More than just a showcase, this site is a true digital hub serving its members: online membership registration, a directory, shared resources, a support forum, and management tools for the board of directors.

The goal: to bring together in one place everything the association needs on a daily basis, with access tailored to each user group and without technical complexity for volunteers.

Three levels of access, one website

Every user can find exactly what they need, thanks to a three-tier architecture:

The showcase site (public)

accessible to everyone without logging in: an overview of the association and its missions, public news, an online membership form, and a selection of featured resources.

The member area

accessible after membership approval: directory, comprehensive resource center, Agora, members-only news, and calendar.

The administration section (board of directors)

member management, website management tools, messaging, and file sharing for board members.

The Member Area: The AGORES Online Community

Once their membership is approved, members gain access to a private area designed to foster the network:

Member Directory

to find and contact other institutional food service directors who are AGORES members.

Comprehensive Resource Center

View and download all documents, guides, and tools shared by the association.

Agora Space

A space for peer-to-peer discussion where members can ask questions and share their experiences, organized by topic.

Member News

Information reserved for members, in addition to public news.

Spotlight on the Agora, the members’ support forum

The Agora is a Q&A forum reserved for members, designed to build on the network’s collective experience:

Question-and-Answer Format

Each thread begins with a question, and members respond to it as the discussion unfolds.

Identified authors

Each message is signed to ensure transparent communication among professionals.

Attachments

Option to attach files to illustrate or support a response.

Manageable topics

Topics are organized by category and managed directly from the admin panel.

Fully Online Membership Sign-ups

Previously, membership sign-ups involved forms exchanged via email or mail, with payment tracking handled separately and little visibility into pending applications. Now, the entire process is centralized on the website:

Simplified registration

a single form, regardless of the plan chosen.

Payment options

by credit card online, or by payment order, bank transfer, or check.

Automatic approval and access

The membership administrator approves the application through the admin portal, and the member portal opens automatically.

The website also provides the board with the tools it needs to manage the organization and stay coordinated:

What the New Website Means for AGORES

Simpler membership sign-ups

An online process and centralized approval.

A more vibrant network

Agora encourages mutual support and the sharing of experiences among peers.

Centralized information

Directory, resources, files, and calendar all in one place.

Controlled access

Three clear levels: public, members, and administration.

Post-launch support

After the launch of the showcase site and the member portal, Digicîmes helps you get started with the new website, the member portal, and the Agora, then fine-tunes the site based on feedback from the board of directors and members after the first few weeks of use.

Are you an association or a professional network looking for a website with a members-only area, online membership sign-up, or a forum? Let’s discuss your project.
